The Montessori presentations are essential teaching methods used to introduce new concepts and materials to children in a Montessori school. The teachers allow the children to explore and practise independently, while introducing more advanced concepts as children master skills.

Together, these presentations foster a child's natural curiosity and love for learning while promoting independence and critical thinking skills.

Montessori Presentations

Children will receive Montessori presentations, one on one, in 4 areas:

Practical Life

The practical life material mimics the practical activities of daily life e.g. to sweep a floor, to wash hands, to fold, to cut and arrange flowers etc.

Sensorial

The sensorial material is designed to aid in the development and refinement of the senses (visual, tactile, stereognostic, auditory, baric, thermic, gustatory and olfactory).

Language

The Montessori language material gives children words to develop the powers of communication and expression.

Mathematics

The essential feature of the mathematics material is the understanding of the mathematical concepts and arithmetic processes from concrete to abstract.
